Isuzu begins production of D-MAX EV pickup in Thailand

Isuzu is among a growing number of automakers embracing Thailand as a production hub for their global operations. By Stewart Burnett

Isuzu has commenced mass production of its first fully-electric pickup truck, the D-MAX EV, in Thailand. The left-hand drive version will be shipped to Europe in the third quarter of 2025, with right-hand drive models for the UK and other regions expected to enter production by the year’s end, with sales to follow in early 2026.
