Mercedes-Benz enters LiDAR partnership with Luminar

Mercedes-Benz has partnered with Luminar Technologies to co-develop its next-generation Halo LiDAR sensors, marking a shift from an earlier supply deal for Luminar’s Iris sensors. The new agreement aims to integrate the compact and efficient Halo sensors into Mercedes vehicles, with production expected to begin in 2026.
