Volvo hails 5,000 e-truck sales milestone

Volvo continues to lead the e-truck segments in North America and Europe, but a major challenge could be just around the corner. By Stewart Burnett

Volvo Trucks has announced a milestone: the delivery of over 5,000 battery-electric trucks to customers since launching its first model in 2019. Cumulatively, the e-trucks have run up nearly 170 million km in commercial operations, with the leading markets being Germany, the Netherlands, the United States, Norway, and Sweden.
