Tesla Engineering VP: Model X and S refreshes are coming

Tesla plans to refresh its less popular Model X and S later in 2025, but launching an affordable EV remains the priority. By Stewart Burnett

Tesla Vice President of Engineering, Lars Moravy, has confirmed that Tesla has no plans to cancel either the Model X or the Model S on the 24 February 2025 episode of his podcast, ‘Ride the Lightning’. Instead, the automaker plans to refresh both of its less-popular models later in the year.
