Honda Q3: motorcycles continue to outperform


The downturn in the automobile division was again offset by stronger results from motorcycles, writes Jonathan Storey

Honda’s third-quarter results were largely overshadowed by the news of its merger talks with Nissan being discontinued. It reported a small profit improvement but undershot consensus expectations as the continued deterioration in the car division was more than offset by stronger performances by the motorcycle and financial services divisions.
