The 56th edition of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna, the leading b2b event dedicated to the beauty industry, will take place on March 20-23 at BolognaFiere, in Bologna, Italy.
The show continues to grow, and welcomed nearly 250,000 visitors last year. “After the great results of the last edition with over 3,000 exhibitors from 150 countries, this event will celebrate new goals,” says Gianpiero Calzolari, president of BolognaFiere.
This year’s theme is sustainability, with conferences and content focused on reducing beauty’s environmental impact. Industry experts will also share insights into the key trends shaping the beauty industry and consumer behavior.
A New Floor Plan
Visitors will see a few changes this year, including a newly simplified show floor and more functional pavilion locations. “The new setting will lead to a better-organized exhibition,” says Enrico Zannini, General Manager of BolognaFiere Cosmoprof.
Cosmopack, located in Pavilion 19, has expanded this year. It is alongside the packaging machinery section. The Country Pavilions, which shared space with Cosmopack in Pavilion 19, will move into 22. Other supply chain segments will be located close to Cosmopack, in Pavilions 15, 18, 15A, and 20. These include raw materials, ingredients, contract manufacturing, private label, accessories, and packaging components.
The area dedicated to Green & Organic has also expanded, and will be located in the mezzanine between Pavilions 21 and 22. In the Cosmo Hair, Nail & Beauty Salon, a new area called Nail Avenue will be located in the Mall area, featuring professional nail companies. Cosmo Perfumery & Cosmetics will move to Pavilion 26 and Cosmetics & Toiletries will be in 36.
There will also be new Buyer Lounges, which will serve as welcoming areas reserved for buyers to network. They will be located in Pavilions 14, 36, and in the area dedicated to professional beauty.
The Awards
New in 2025 is the Beauty Stars Award, celebrating professionals and companies in the professional beauty sector. “These awards will highlight the passion, creativity, and expertise of beauticians, companies, and spas, giving a voice to an industry that has continually reinvented itself,” organizers say.
The Cosmoprof & Cosmopack Awards are returning, organized in collaboration with Beautystreams. The winners will be announced on March 21.
CosmoTalks
The CosmoTalks conference program will feature over 70 speakers, including representatives from trend agencies, brands, and other experts. Attendees will gain insights into the state of the industry and its future evolution.
This year, the conferences will focus on sustainability, high-tech solutions in beauty, longevity, a pro-aging approach, and more.
