Everyday Objects Are Made Delightful by Robert Bronwasser

We are always looking for great everyday design that is affordable, accessible, and modern over on @designmilkeveryday and every one of Robert Bronwasser’s new EVERYDAY OBJECTS for Dutch design label GOODS needs its fair share of the spotlight there. The designer has a playful take on four common household objects – a side table, a vase, a tray, and a shelf – that will turn mundane moments into delightful ones.

Starting with WIM, a side table named after his father but also its W-shape, Bronwasser creates a unique designated spot for both storing magazines and books with a place to set down a drink. The table is made of aluminum and available in five colors.

VAAX is a ceramic vase made in the Netherlands that resembles an X, symbolizing connection. Compared to a usual round opening, the rare shape allows flowers to be evenly and nicely distributed.

How do you make a sheet of aluminum interesting? You simply fold up four sides and voilà, the sheet becomes a tray. Fittingly named LEAF, the tray is reminiscent of a curled up leaf.

Lastly, LOFT proves a cabinet doesn’t always need four legs. The design is perfectly made for a corner of the room that needs some storage space and, because of the way the shelves are cut and designed, there is virtually no waste made during production. Loft comes flat packed to minimize shipping costs and can be easily assembled for different heights.
