“We’ve built a strong foundation in real estate data, and while we continue to expand, our focus remains on delivering frictionless access to data that empower our customers to remain competitive in a rapidly evolving marketplace,” Constellation Data Labs General Manager Andrew Seminari said, in a statement.

Parent company Constellation Real Estate Group is itself a subsidiary of Toronto-based Constellation Software Inc., rated by The Economist as “the world’s best acquirer of tech firms.”

Constellation Data Labs recently partnered with mortgage technology provider Optimal Blue to integrate its loan analytics data. Formerly a Black Knight company, Optimal Blue was sold to Constellation Software in 2023 to pave the way for Black Knight’s acquisition by Intercontinental Exchange (ICE).

Black Knight’s loan origination system, Encompass, is now owned by Dark Matter Technologies, another company within Constellation Software’s Perseus Group.

Other real estate technology provider companies under the Perseus Group umbrella include Market Leader, Top Producer, Zurple, SmartZip and TORCHx.
