Because Apple owns the rights to the iCar name, Chery will rebrand its off-road vehicles ‘iCaur’ instead. By Stewart Burnett

Chinese automaker Chery will launch its off-road electric vehicle brand iCar in the UK in 2025 as part of an ongoing global expansion. The automaker will change the name to ‘iCaur’ to avoid getting into a legal dispute with Apple, which owns the rights to the ‘iCar’ brand.
